World Vision Senegal has been working in 32 villages among the Wolof people group. However, they have begun plans to pull out from the zone soon, but they would like to see a Church planted there before their exit.
To this end, World Vision Senegal approached CAPRO Senegal and after surveying the land, the team believes that the Lord would have them enter the biggest town in that area: Baba Garage. While they acknowledge the shortage of manpower and are soliciting for prayers to that effect, they nonetheless hope to begin the work before the end of the year.
Praise God: No Rent in Kaolack Again!
The Lord has purchased for us the property that we have been using in Kaolack-though we still have to pay the remaining taxes (US$ 4000).
Plans are on the way to extend the Tabitha Sewing Centre in Dakar to Rufisque and Kaolack. The Centre is empowering some of the young girls in the Church and giving them hope for the future.
